a dash of color

project overview

looking around the usc roski building and area, in my des230 3d design class, I was tasked to transform part of the space using vinyl as the medium. although roski is an art school, much of the grounds was frankly, quite boring: grey, concrete, and lacking personality. in this vinyl installation, "a dash of color," I transformed the dark, slightly creepy grey stairwell students walked by every morning in watt hall into an engaging and whimsical installation that would lead students up into the second floor.
